National Reassurance Policing Prgramme Reassurance policing is about using citizen-focused policing to target visible crime and disorder, in order to make neighbourhoods more secure.
Neighbourhood policing is the police services commitment to improving your quality of life by working together with partners, targeting the issues that you identify as those that matter. Because this will be achieved by the police in your area working together with partners you may know it locally by a different name such as Neighbourhood Management or Safer Neighbourhoods.
