| Marking 60 years to arrive at, if not dirty wards or areas, ones that are germ ridden. When the worry was once the operation, the worry is now the infection. It’s akin to not going out in the dark for fear of violence and crime. |

| I was wondering when these details would appear on their website. Not being able to contact them to ask. There is nothing new on this website, nor is there interactivity. A little more is known of the Regional Representatives but will they all respond to communication? What does anyone else think of this website? Does it reflect the leadership of NHW that it claims but its Term of Reference do not cover. |

| I really don't want to be winner of the competition I created! It's lovely sunny weather hereabouts and all I'm asking you to do is go out into your neighbourhoods and take pictures of examples of where Neighbourhood Watch is, or isn't working. You can send in photos or films. They will go into a gallery with your name and a text that you can write that can contain a link to your own website. If you search for 'Neighbourhood Watch' on Google you'll find that NWinfo comes out at or near the top. Because it's a competition we need a sponsor who could contribute some kind of prize in return for being a judge of the competition and receiving advertising on NWinfo. It's certainly a good way of getting seen and I wish someone would join in! You will all benefit from pictures donated in this way, by having a more picturesque website and it's useful for everyone to see what other's are doing round the country. | Approaching 12 months, will it be too much to expect an Annual Report? It should contain the expenses claimed by NHW Network. It is important to know the public costs that this government is allowing against something that is proclaimed as representing NHW. The tax burden has never been higher, what pittance does the largest voluntary organisation get in return? There is a need for such transparency and to have the changes in Regional Representatives chronicled. At a minimum, Reports from all Regional Representatives with one from the Chair. Surely this is not too much to ask given the representation status NHW Network claims? |

| A member had organised an event for NHW Week & tried to e-mail his NHWN rep. to give details. The two e-mails were returned 'out of date' after the ISP had tried to deliver for a number of days. The member contacted NWInfo & we managed to e-mail the rep with a copy of the e-mail. The response from the rep was - Peter I am in regular contact with ------. I WOULD BE OBLIGED IF YOU WOULD CHECK FACTS BEFORE CONTACTING ME Regards The rep. had never seen the e-mail forwarded to him. Similar messages have been forwarded to other NHWN reps. & with one exception - who has since been replaced - NWInfo has always been thanked. |

| Will Brown be feeling smug, that feeling that must accompany a new imposed tax? When you need 42 days to detain people while building a case against them, it will enable the thinnest of reasons to arrest them in the first place. A rumour should suffice. It must not be forgotten that this Government originally wanted 90 days. No doubt if they are voted back in again, they will go along that route. This must be one of the strongest reasons to vote for anyone or anything, except the Brown Crowd. After all they orchestrated the future risk of terrorism against the UK in the first place. |

| I have not been able to email all Police Forces that operate with 0845, as I am approaching it via the regions and attempting to get NHW Network Representatives and Regions interested. This will be completed soon. I will give credit to the Police Forces that have replied some with a commitment to move to 03 and one has already set a date. I sure there must be others. Without doubt all UK Police Forces are aware of Ofcom and the push for the Police Service not to make money out of the necessity to contact them (for themselves or other parties). They are not the only public organisations that do this, but they have a core function within our increasingly fragmented society. I unintentionally published an email address in my postings regarding this. I thank those who contacted me directly. People may not always post on this forum, but be assured they do read it (like you are now). |

| From casually monitoring the UK murder rate, this was a violent street assault. It is the balance of there increase against those that end up fatally injured. In the National Crime Lottery stakes, the odds are all there of becoming a victim. It would be the most generous pay out lottery in the World.
